Membership Terms and Conditions

Australian Academy of Medico-Legal Education (AAMLE)

By registering as a member of the Australian Academy of Medico-Legal Education (AAMLE), you agree to the following terms and conditions:

1) Membership Eligibility

Membership is open to professionals working in or associated with, the medico-legal industry, including doctors, lawyers, insurers, related professionals, and students. AAMLE reserves the right to accept or decline any membership application at its sole discretion.

2) Free Membership

Membership is currently provided at no cost. AAMLE reserves the right to introduce paid membership tiers or benefits in the future with prior notice.

3) Voluntary Membership

You may resign your membership at any time by notifying AAMLE in writing. Membership will cease from the date your resignation is processed.

4) Termination by AAMLE

AAMLE may suspend or terminate your membership at any time without notice if you breach these Terms and Conditions or engage in conduct that AAMLE considers to be inappropriate or detrimental to its interests.

5) Access to Educational Resources

As a member, you may be granted access to live and recorded webinars, seminars, written materials, newsletters, and other educational content. Access is provided solely for your personal and professional development and must not be shared with others.

6) Intellectual Property

All AAMLE content and materials are protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. You must not reproduce, distribute, modify, transmit, store, publish, or use any part of the content for commercial purposes or for teaching/training others, without prior written authorisation from AAMLE.

7) Use of Materials

Materials provided by AAMLE are for educational purposes only and do not constitute legal, medical, or professional advice. Members are responsible for how they interpret and apply any information provided.

8) Privacy

By joining AAMLE, you consent to the collection and use of your personal information in accordance with AAMLE’s Privacy Policy. Your contact information may be used to send updates, event invitations, or newsletters relevant to your membership.

9) Code of Conduct

Members are expected to act respectfully and professionally in all interactions with AAMLE and other members. Disruptive, offensive, or unethical behaviour may result in immediate termination of membership.

10) Changes to Terms

AAMLE reserves the right to modify these Terms and Conditions at any time. Any changes will be published on the AAMLE website or notified to members via email. Continued use of your membership after such changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
